A corporate gift works best when it does not end up at the bottom of a drawer, but stays visible and in everyday use.
As a follow-up to the engraved slate coaster we previously made for Dél-balatoni Vitorlásiskola, we recently completed another small-batch business project for them: 150 cork keychains with custom double-sided UV laser engraving.
Cork is a lightweight material with a natural feel, which fits well with the visual identity of a lakeside sailing business. A keychain is also more than a one-time promotional item. By its nature, it gets used: it can go on a keyring, a bag, a boat key or a car key, and it keeps the brand present for a longer time.
Double-sided engraving makes the small surface much more useful. One side can carry the logo or company name, while the other can include a short message, website, QR code or any detail that helps with later contact. In this case, we used a cheerful sailing-related message that reminds the user not only of pleasant moments on the water, but also of the sailing school itself.
For this kind of order, engraving quality is only one part of the job. Repeatability matters just as much. With 150 pieces, the marking has to stay consistent, the positioning has to remain clean, and the final result should feel like a planned corporate series, not a random set of individually made items. This also reflects the quality and care behind the customer’s own services.
