When a Business Card Becomes Part of the Client Experience.

UV laser engraved, ultra-thin metal business cards and 3D printed card holders for law firms and executive client relationships.

In our previous blog post, we wrote about the added value a high-quality business card can provide for an executive leader. It does not only hand over contact details. It also creates a first impression, draws attention and gives a tangible signal of how a company thinks about its own professional appearance.

In this post, we are proud to share a concrete example of exactly that.

For B Works, it is an especially important milestone that a successful collaboration has started with a highly respected law firm specialized in compensation and insurance law, Ikanov Law Firm – Advocating for Accident Victims.

Based on our previous work, the owner of the law firm contacted us directly, which was already a highly appreciated form of feedback. Our personal discussion was followed by a concrete order: ultra-thin metal business cards were produced for the firm, intended for use with selected key clients.

This project clearly shows why a business card should not always be seen as a simple printed name card.

The cards were made from 0.2 mm thin metal. This format takes up less space than traditional paper-based cards, while being significantly more durable and giving a much stronger presence when held in the hand. A card like this is not only received. It is looked at, felt and noticed. The quality of the material, the level of detail and the attention behind it are immediately visible.

In the legal field, this is especially important. A key client does not expect a mass-produced, template-based solution. The first impression needs to be organized, trustworthy and quietly strong. That is why the design of the card was not only about the logo and contact details, but also about the professional focus of the firm, its visual identity and the actual situation in which the card would be handed over.

In addition to the metal cards, we also paid attention to the way they are presented. A carefully made business card works best when the handover experience represents the same level of quality. For this reason, custom-designed 3D printed card holders with a carbon-pattern finish were also created for the project.

These are not single-use packaging items. The firm’s logo was also engraved on top of the holders, so they can later be used independently within the legal practice: in a meeting room, on an office desk, during client meetings or for future card presentations. This is an important difference, because the result was not simply a product. It became a complete business presentation element designed to remain in use.

One of the best pieces of feedback from the project was that the client liked the finished cards and the custom holders so much that we practically continued the conversation immediately about future collaboration opportunities.

This is exactly the kind of confirmation B Works aims for: even in small batches, it is possible to create company items that do not end up in a drawer, but gain a real role in client relationships, brand appearance and everyday business operations.

In this project, UV laser engraving provided the durable, precise and high-quality marking on the metal surface. 3D printing made it possible to create a matching, carbon-pattern, logoed card holder for the handover experience. Together, they were not separate technology demonstrations, but a practical solution for a specific business situation.

An executive business card works well when it does more than transfer information. It should strengthen the feeling that the other person is in the right place. For a law firm, this is especially important: trust, order, professional weight and attention to detail all matter.

We hope to share further joint success stories soon.

Thank you again for your trust.

If you would like your own metal business card, executive name card or custom presentation solution, the first step is simple: send the logo, the required quantity, the intended use case and the impression you would like to create for your client.
